Killed Modell (STL), somebody who was claiming STL, but really was no threat. They killed more for the fun of it than to 'getback' in my opinion. Him and Cdai would talk about murder like it was something that they enjoyed doing for sport, even if it was innocent people that they killed. He was just scrapping.It really wasn't what he did, but how he acted about it. Von didn’t pull any type of weapon though. Now if someone I’m fighting pulls any type of weapon, I am reasonable to kill them dead on the spot. I don’t think a fistfight constitutes pulling a gun whatsoever. See you’re allowed to take steps to protect your life only as far as the threat goes, so that’s another thing to consider. The matter for the court is to prove whether or not his life was actually in danger.

You could make a case that Rondo thought his life was in danger. Von did not pose a fatal risk to Tim however, Tim was defending Rondo in this situation. Von did not display the threat of deadly force either, and he was unarmed. How do you judge this situation? Well, Von SEEMS to be the instigator of this physical altercation. It was just a fist fight and the worst charges anybody should’ve got was assault. Tim didn’t reasonably have to take that action IMO. It looks like he grabbed his strap from the car and popped out to shoot Von. In regard to this situation specifically, Tim’s life wasn’t in danger. The Georgia law does also allow you to defend someone else who is reasonably subject to physical harm. This is because one gentleman came at the other with the threat of bodily harm. For instance, had John Doe been beating the shit out of Jim Doe, the courts may reasonably side with Jim Doe if he pulled a weapon and shot John Doe. Though I personally don’t see the situation between Von and Rondo as a deadly altercation, you have to understand what the cops would do had it been two random guys on the street. The stand your ground law could’ve more easily been justified had it been Rondo shooting considering he was getting beat up.

Through reading up on this, Georgia’s “Stand you Ground” laws are very vague and leave a lot up to the court to interpret. Just look at the videos I posted or search fight videos on YouTube for plenty of cases of people getting beat up and not really having any serious injuries.don’t believe the replier with his “human skulls can only withstand X amount of force and junky could do that” The people on here who think you are going to die if you get into a street fight watch too many movies and likely never have been in a fight or seen many in real life.when people fight and someone hits the ground it is almost automatic someone is going to try and kick them in the head or face.and I would be shocked if anyone reading this personally knew someone who got beat to death.those are usually freak accidents or the result of underlying medical conditionsĪ jury of peers judges based on what they believe is reasonable.my guess them guys in Atlanta are going watch the video, see Von punching the dude and if he tries to say “I was afraid that those punches and kicks would have killed my friend or caused serious injury to him” are going to think “I see people get they a** whooped worse than that all the time”.dude wasn’t even knocked out yet in the video and was still fighting back somewhat To physically beat a grown man to death with your bare hands / feet is extremely difficult to do.and would also likely require beating someone long after they fell unconscious.dude in the video was still fighting back
